If you are someone that says, “There’s no point for me to be on Twitter”, maybe consider just following businesses, restaurants and celebrities that you are interested in. Restaurants and businesses are desparate to get your business during these times so more are putting out coupon specials which are picked up by sites like Slickdeals and Coupons but then there are some deals only to those that are friends on Twitter.

United Airlines offers “twares” which are discount airfares on Twitter. Maggiano’s is offering a free gift card to a random user after they get to a certain number of followers.

So even if you don’t want to post the fact you just ate some Cherrios or just got back from the mall, you can get updates from things you are interested in. It’s the new way to get news so don’t be against it!
