Go figure, there’s a movie coming out called Premium Rush where the plot revolves around bicycle couriers in New York City. The main role is Joseph Gordon-Levitt that played Tommy on 3rd Rock From the Sun and was also on Inception. I’m posting this because I really want to see this movie!

New to streaming

I’m not into watching sports. I’d rather be playing sports. I could care less about watching the Superbowl because I hate football. I’d only watch for the commercials which I can watch on a website later. We’re actually going to a Hockey game on Sunday!

So the first video I’ve streamed from my HTC HD2 wasn’t a tv show, movie or sporting event, it was watching the town of Punxsutawney reveal if Phil the grounding would see his shadow on February 2nd. I know, fascinating stuff especially when I live in FL where it doesn’t snow anyway!

I’ll be streaming XGames and MMA more from my phone in the near future…

Steampunk styling my room

We have a spare bedroom and I’ve been contemplating what to make it. Most recently, I’ve painted it a shade of teal and also painted my dresser an industrial slate color. Now, I am in need of some home decor. I nearly have put things on hold so I can work on my “project” room!

I’m looking for items from the 1900s-50s depending on the style. The concept is Steampunk. What is Steampunk? A step backwards in time towards the industrial revolution making antiques serve the purpose of art by adding a modern look to it. 19th century Victorian metal items altered with detail of gears, wires, metal, clocks and old machinery.

I’m trying to find stuff local, not buy it on eBay due to shipping old/heavy stuff isn’t always the best idea nor the cheapest. So what items am I looking for that maybe you could assist with? Well thanks for asking!

All I have to say is this: I’m glad I don’t live up north if people lose their minds like this guy!! Is this a reflection of what snow does to you? He should drink a cup of coffee and warm up a bit!

Mountain Biking at Alafia State Park in Florida

I was able to get the chance to go with some friends to Alafia State Park to do some mountain biking here in Tampa, Florida! I have been to Alafia before but we took it a little easier this round as compared to other rounds. To be honest, I push myself a little past my capabilities and usually I end up hurt at Alafia. Don’t believe me? Check out this post here! This time, we were with new beginners so we took easy and intermediate sections.

This is so funny, I nearly want to try this myself! These guys tried to get rejected by the DMV with how they looked but they were able to get a license every time!

Been busy branding Beyond Ariose!

I haven’t posted a blog in awhile. I went to a concert on Monday to see my friends Beyond Ariose. They opened up for a well known Christian Rock band named Kutless. After Beyond Ariose played, someone came up to them and offered the opportunity to play at Cornerstone Festival. Cornerstone is a week long event with hundreds of bands; kind of like Woodstock for Christian bands.

Because of this insane offer (on Monday), they had to raise enough money to be able to leave tomorrow (Saturday of the same week). Their first show is on Monday and they aren’t sure exactly what days/times they are also playing. Because of this opportunity coming so fast, I helped them out by creating a WordPress site for them under BeyondArioseBand.com. I also threw together some business cards so they can hopefully meet the right people! They will be updating and adding posts/video posts while they are on the road so check them out all next week there!

These guys have such an incredible production while they are playing that I feel this is their time to be found out. I can always say I knew them before they got big!
